While Växjö has a small airport,  the best way to get there is to fly to Copenhagen (Denmark) and then get a train to Växjö station (the train takes 2 hours).

We recommend that you leave an hour between landing and catching your train to allow enough time to collect your luggage, get through passport control etc. The train station is conveniently  located in the airport directly below the Arrivals area.

(Please note that the last train from Copenhagen to Växjö is at 21:09.)

Alternatively you could rent a car, there are plenty of options at Copenhagen airport. The drive to  Växjö will take about two and a half hours. Please note that there is a fee to drive across the bridge between Sweden and Denmark, you can find details of the costs and how to save money here https://www.oresundsbron.com/en/start 

You can also rent a car in Växjö or in Malmö.

You could also look at flights to Gothenburg (Göteborg) which is just under a three hour drive from Växjö (please note the trains are not well connected to this airport, so we only recommend to fly here if you want to rent a car)
